Ce soir, la lune se lève, pleine, et il n'y a pas un souffle de vent. J'essaie ma caméra digitale pour voir le genre de travail qu'elle fait dans des conditions de faible luminosité.

This is the end of august. We had an exceptionnal summer for the temperature, even, too hot to my liking as there's been many days I could not work because it was too hot. In the bottom of the marina's yard, where I am, there's nobody else than me. In the swamp behind my boat, there are still herons, ducks, turtules and frogs, to keep me company but that's not enough to prevent me from feeling lonely. In the last years, there was more people fixing their boats, and sometimes, they were coming to have a chat with me, see how my work is going, but now, many of these persons, at the age of retirement, have decided to withdraw and sell everything. I am now mostly surrounded by boats that are in need of some love...
This evening, the moon raises, full, and there's no wind at all. I try my digital camera to see how it performs in a low-light condition.
