Un mat, 8 ans plus tard / A mast, 8 years later

Oui, ca fait 8 ans que j'ai demandé aux employés de la marina de démater mon bateau car je planifiais de gros travaux et la présence du mat allait gener. Surement qu'a ce moment-la, je ne m'imaginais pas que ca allait prendre autant de temps. Mais bon, la c'est fait. De plus, il est repeint en neuf, et il a les feux requis de mi-mat, indiquant que le navire est propulsé par un moteur,  et le feu de tete de mat, pour indiquer quand on est ancré. Ces feux étaient manquants.

That's right, it's been 8 years since I asked the marina's workers to take off the mast as I was planning some extensive work and it would have been in the way. For sure I was not imagining, then, that it would take that long. But, now it's done. Furthermore, it is repainted like new, and now has the required masthead light, indicating the ship is under engine power, and an all-round white light indication an anchored ship. These lights were missing.
